Sweetwaters Little Redford was a great production mare, she produced eight appaloosa foals out of nine foals. She is the daughter of the famous |
|
Robert Redford and showed his refinement. All of her offspring are coveted working horses with great dispositions and stamina. Sweetie had great conformation, personality, color, and an awesome production record. She was one outstanding mare. We lost her in 2010 but her name will be carried on in her many outstanding foals. |

Shady Acres P-J was born in Hardin, Kentucky on April 13, 1977. We brought PJ to California in 1978 and his brother Carbon Copy in 1979. Both horses where shown through out California, Then we put these 2 champions together as a pair and again they where shown. They where rarely beaten in the ring and received many championships. The boys where wonderful they where used to give rides at grand opening and benefits. We lost Carbon Copy in 2002, but PJ is still going strong. He enjoys the children that visit the stable and his days on pasture. |

Shady Acres Gypsy Rose Lee was born in Hardin, Kentucky on May 9, 1979 and was one of our first modern miniatures. She was way ahead of her time. Gypsy was so impressive as a junior mare she repeatedly won Grand Champion Mare over the adult minis. She was high point mini horse in the United States in 1981. This mare had an outstanding show record and was the mare that produced the conformation and disposition we needed for driving. Gypsy is now enjoying green pastures in heaven. |

Misty Myo was born in Springville, California on May 5, 1980. This is one of the few horses still alive that is the daughter to the famous leopard appaloosa stallion Chianti. She has one of the most beautiful snow flake patterns, and has been a producer of beautiful miniature appaloosas through her career. Misty is now retired and enjoying her pasture time. |
|
Robert Redford is shown in the picture above at the age of 20. Robert Redford is a few spot leopard appaloosa that stands 33 inches. He is the sire to our Sweetwaters Little Redford AKA Sweetie Pie. We are very proud to have this beautiful stallion in the back ground of our horses. We downloaded this picture in 2001. |
|
Bond Adonis was born in 1983 and matured to a height of 27 ¾ inches. He came from the herd of C.M. Bond. Adonis’ Sire was a 28” Stallion named Bond Shadrack and his Dam was a 29” Mare named Bond Hankering Hannah. Adonis has almost perfect conformation which is very hard to come by in micro minis. Adonis is the father to our Calico Kid, who in turn looks like his father except for his color. |

Chianti born on the Falabella Farm in Argentina in 1964. He was imported to the United States by the Regina Winery in Southern California. In the early 70s he was used in their four up hitch pictured above. When the winery closed it’s doors Chianti was sold and shown through out California. He has produced more miniature appaloosas then any other stallion for the time. We are proud to have this 33” stallion as the sire to Misty Myo one of his last foals and also in our Slim Pickens background. |

Silverado Button Up is a 33 inch beautiful blanket marked appaloosa stallion. This stallion if the father to four of our appaloosa mares. Buttons has a quite, sweet natured and is a wonderful driving horse. This is the horse that gave us the substance that we needed to compete in Combined Driving Events. This is where our appaloosa line get the driving power as well as being refined. |
